Hi Im Flipside, ( Craig ) I started DJing at the age of 15 back in 1988. Back in the mid eighties I was into Hip Hop and this drove my desire to become a DJ. In my early djing days mymixing skills were limited to say the least, but this was not helped by the use of my 2 non pitch control belt drive decks. (Those were the days!)

By 1990 I started on a set of Technics 1210’s and a Phonic MRT60 mixer and was into his Classic and Acid House, listening to stations such as Centreforce and Sunrise whilst working on the markets in and around London changed his taste from the Hip Hop scene. The pirate stations became the main influence in my musical taste and future DJing career. As the music moved so did my taste moving into the Hardcore Scene of 1990-1993 and then into the Jungle Scene of 1993-1996. After 1996 I went back to his roots playing all styles from 1988-1996.

I have been playing at events since 1991 and still play out to this day, some of the more recents events you may have heard me at were: Moondance, Hysteria Back to the Oldskool, Freedom to Dance, Origin, Rejuven8, Genetix, Ministry of Sound, Junction @ Cambridge, History of Hardcore, Slip back in Time, Raveworld to name a few.

My contribution to the scene has not just always been djing, he has always been involved in promoting events from 1991 at my local rugby club to large scale events in London. Events such as Bliss, Origin and History of Hardcore. History of Hardcore is my latest project which I run with a few others, look out for this event, it’s truly up and coming.

I also have vast radio experience playing on many stations over the years such as Cyndicut, Renegade, Soundz, Plush, and Force FM which you can catch me on every Monday 19.30 til 21.00 playing the Oldskool sounds from 1988-1995. I also started www.remanissradio.net. Remaniss Radio became the award winning Oldskool Hardcore and Jungle Station on the net. Definitely worth checking out! Since then I have moved on now running History of Hardcore Radio, which like Remaniss in its early days goes from strength to strength.
