Yes, female DJ s are finally getting a look in. "Its about time". I have been with this scene since it was born. I used to listen to Franky Knuckles, Jacktrax etc through a friend who brought me tapes from Londons "Kiss" as we could'nt get the reception for it up here way back in 85/6. 1987 was my first experiance of Warehouse parties and I can tell you I have never looked back. I am truley in love with HOUSE music of all different types. I only started to want to play music in clubs when I found myself going out every weekend to be disappointed as commercialisation was spoiling my weekend. So, over the years I have been a dancer in almost all the clubs worth going to within a possible radius to get to and from. All I can say is it is I am as passionate now as I was at first. Charlys Angels has been an established party since November 2004 and started as a showcase for the talented female DJ’s in East Lancashire. The night features the skills of 3 talented & experienced female DJ’s Jane Angel, Claire Kelly & Flo Jo playing alongside the beautifully powerful voice of Hayley.

The strictly funky music policy builds up from underground to recent anthems and peaks with a mixture of classics, funky vocal and electro house.

Renowned as attracting the most beautiful and friendly crowd, Charlys Angels has gone from strength to strength and now host parties alongside Kiss Da Funk, Cream and Retro at Club Fusion in Burnley.

Now into their 2nd year as residents, the girls not only get involved in the fancy dress themes but even have their own dance performed by their loyal followers.

The Angels are now also strongly associated with 2Kinky, who stage refreshing dance nights by bringing together innovative production and top flight resident DJs, to conjure up an irresistible combination of up-front chunky house beats, live musicians and performers.
Seeing is believing...!2Kinky!... you know it makes sense.

I have played hard house in the past but now my music preference is funky house, tribal, club house to progressive.

I focus on playing a mixture of Tribal, Progressive club house music. I like my bass!!
