Gigilos Biography


He is heavily involved with music. His parents recall his very first attempt at mixing, when he was only a small child he decided to see what sound would be created when he touched the vinyl as it was spinning on his fathers record player and he has been hooked ever since!

Growing up he was influenced by many types of music, most influencial being Hip Hop and the very early Electro from during the Breakdance era of the 80's, followed by the Acid House and Rave era of the 90's.

When he left school he joined the British Army where he worked providing Combat Communications within The Royal Corp of Signals, He has served in some far flung countries and has seen many different cultures,
all of which have provided him with valuable knowledge of different tastes in music on a first hand global scale.

More recently he has been playing as one of the resident djs on an internet radio station called VirtualDJ Radio

He can be heard spinning some damn fine Electro / Tech / Progressive and Hard House tunes (depending on his mood!) Check the stations "Who's on when" icon for further details of when he is playing.

His style of mixing has a definite underground vibe and has been described as "Off the hook" by the likes of Hugo 'Boss' Cintron, part of the duo that make up The Club Punks (Fatal Music, Jump N' Jaxx)

In between his job in the British Army and playing on his show, he managed to find the time to produce a track which was deservedly given radio airtime and club play by some well known djs, the tune he produced was entitled Sebastien Leger vs Greenskeepers - Money vs Mars, One of the dj producers who really liked his tune is the one and only Oscar Poche (Open Bar Music), who charted it in the New York Hype Chart, placing it straight into the number 22 slot ahead of the well known Adam K & Soha's Twilight tune.

He has now left the British Army and is playing his sound to the people of the world, from London to New York, South America to Asia, he is prepared to go anywhere for his love of the music!
