I started raving 'back in the day', I've been going out since 1992 all over the place, but mainly in and around London I used to go to Orange @ the rocket, Club Elevation, Labrynth, AWOL, One nation @ the Roller express, Bagleys, The Leisure Lounge etc etc and also in the South West - I used to go to Remix & Madisons in Bournemouth, The Manor in Ringwood, Free Parties or 'illegal raves' like DIY etc. Plus big one off's like Fantazia and Vision. I followed Oldskool Hardcore into Jungle & DnB (although still went to some Happy Hardcore events as well) then also got into UKG and started going to a lot more of those events. That scene then changed a fair bit, and Oldskool hardcore started to make a resurgence (YES YES!!!!!) so now I mainly go to Oldskool & Hardcore Breaks events (if you don't know... 'Hardcore Breaks' is basically new production Hardcore made in the Oldskool style - breakbeats, pianos, stabs, that kind of thing..... not crap sounding Nuskool breakz rip off of old tracks though... ;-) ), but I've got a wide taste in music and will go to most events with quality danceable music.
I DJ Oldskool, Hardcore Breaks and Jungle. I have played on www.stressfactor.com, www.historyofhardcore.co.uk, and www.breakpirates.com. But I'm currently taking a break from regular radio slots due to other responsibilities. .... damn that made me sound boring! I'm still up for any guest shows or DJing at events though.
