Ignition is a INFECTIOUS BREAKS / Out-Break resident DJ plus Illusion Promotions head chief. As a DJ , Steve has held numerous residencies across the city since 1996 playing House on the bar scene at places including Scandals, Langtrys & O'Neills before forming Illusion Promotions in 1998. Since then he has put on regular parties in venue's across the city and has helped many other nights with sound and light for there party's. Steve has also helped the undergound scene in Portsmouth with a free venue in the centre of town called THE VENUS VODKA BAR. Now involved with infectious breaks and organiser of Out-Break from 2005. Ignition has been influenced by many styles over the years and aswell as playing breaks has also played Funky House at Houseworx, Hardcore at Hypersonic, Trance and Hard House with transmission.
As a breaks DJ has played at Kiss my Bass, BREAK DA HOUSE,Tribal Medicine, Something's Missing at Drift, Overload on the Fort, Southampton's F(r)action, OXJAM and Out Of The Void plus many appearances on Breaks Fm internet radio station.

Illusion promotions current project is the control of the diary for the Venus vodka bar at the Guildhall walk. a project that will see some of the best underground promoters come and put on their nights in this compact venue with a BIG VIBE.
Its my hope and plans that portsmouth will have a venue like this ,that we can use and bring a community of underground clubbers/promoters together in a safe environment. For all to enjoy.
