Lucky Luciano burst onto Edinburgh's gay scene in 2007 with the grand opening of GHQ, and was one of the only DJs to entertain the crowds on both Fridays AND Saturdays as well as playing both in the front room and the back room. Luciano brought a varied mix of electro house, funky house, chart, R&B and disco to Edinburgh's largest gay venue. DJing with Jon Pleased when GHQ first opened remains a high point in Lucky's career.

Before embarking at GHQ, Lucky enjoyed prolonged and successful residencies in Edinburgh's Student scene and underground scene. Spinning chart and cheese in venues like Subway Cowgate, Stereo and the massive Edinburgh union, Potterrow, while simultaneously DJing and co-running Edenangels, one of Edinburgh's most notorious and now most missed underground clubs.

It has been almost 4 years since Lucky Luciano picked up his headphones for the first time, and since leaving GHQ in Autumn 2008 he now enjoys playing out regularly at Planet, doing the odd night at Playgirl Mansions, covering for Trendy Wendy (who Lucky lists as his top inspiration as a DJ), and playing for his fans and good friends in his infamous Leith party flat!

ELECTROsexual, Lucky's newest venture exploded on to the scene with a bang in January 2009, and is set to be one of CC Blooms biggest and most popular nights. With the full support of QS Magazine, Wildcats PR and of course the CC's owners ELECTROsexual is set to stay, bringing a mix of dirty electro and bootlegs previously unheard on the scene.

Lucky Luciano's plans for 2009 include DJing in another city (which is due to happen in March when he plays in Aberdeen's Foundation), to run and promote several clubs nights in and out of the gay scene and his ultimate goal is to guest (or even warm up) in legendary clubs Fever and Taste.

High points in Lucky's career so far are DJing with The Cut Up Boys from Ministry of Sound (who highly rated Lucky's 'Let's Get Mashed' mix), DJing with Zane Lowe, and launching ELECTROsexual.
