INTRODUCTION:
I have been into music from as soon as I was born, as my dad used to and still does blast out his calypso and Trinidadian steel band music out through to the early hours of the morning. My first ever record I bought was called the Main Attraction by BB&Q and from then on have been collecting records ever since. I was inspired into djing after listening to firstly Chris hill and froggy at the soul night out at the Lacy lady ( kings in Ilford) and the soul weekenders( prestatyn and Barry island) but more importantly by dj’s Randall and Paul trouble Anderson at a place called 3rd Base on Shaftesbury avenue in London. In 1992 my first party was at the Mudlark by tower bridge where I invited all my friends who worked in the city but then moved on to a fabulous place called the workshop in Basildon where we had 500 people once a month in our own mini-ministry where we partied till 2am then went onto Ministry of Sound afterwards.My main mentor as far as being the dynamic mixer that I am today was Jon”Hollywood”Joe whose style with the cross fader to me was magical. Together we now make a formidable team (The Hollywood Stars) although now I can show him a thing to (wink wink, big up son). Love to make the crowd go mad and always will, cos no one makes a party like the star!
