Midlands based Minett’s meteoric rising reputation as an up and coming DJ has dazzled Clubbers wherever he plays. Minett started mixing back in 2003 inspired after watching one of his heroes Marco V at Global Gathering and decided to start DJing himself. After a short space of time realising that he had a natural talent his friends persuaded him to make a mix and send this out to local nights. Shortly after this Minett was booked to play several nights in his local area. The likes of Nu Revolution in Hinckley, Metro in Atherstone, Live & Loud sister night Live& Kicking @ Elements Super club Hinckley & Backlash at Venue Long Eaton are just a few of the local nights Minett has performed at in the Past . Not long after rocking these nights Minett was spotted and secured guest appearances at big Midlands nights, Frisky , Live & Loud for JFK and probably the most famous trance night in the Midlands area “PASSION” @ the Emporium Coalville. Since playing for these events Minett has made regular guest appearances for Live & Loud and Passion the most memorable being Passions 12th birthday along side Armin Van Buuren JFK & Genix which was a 2500, sell out. Minett has played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry such as, Armin Van Burren ,Paul Van Dyk,Tiesto, Marco V , Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, K90, Adam Sheridan , Richard Durand , Simon Patterson , JFK , Matt Hardwick , Genix, Guy Ornadel and many more at various events and Dance nights across the country. Minett plays an awesome style of prog/tech/electric edged trance. Minett’s adaptability enables him to play warm up through to peak time and closing sets. Minett is a crowd pleaser and his sets are always unique and by doing this he has accumulated a loyal following of clubbers.
