DJ Neo aka Pete has been djing for 12 years at a variety of venues across southern England. He plays a variety of genres including hardcore, happy hardcore, hard house, hard trance, and electro. His love for hard dance music is evident within his energetic performances, and he regularly includes skills of scratching and cutting to make his sets stand out, and to keep the crowd entertained. For him it is all about the music and fulfilling his dream of becoming a part of the hardcore scene, which has led him to work with some truly amazing people, and establish many great friends along the way. ?

He discovered his passion for hardcore at a very early age after listening to a Hysteria tape of DJ Hixxy. His curiosity led him to turn to his (now) brother in law DJ Renn, for help and advice about becoming a DJ. Beginning on a set on DLP 100 belt drives !!!, he developed his music collection and mixing techniques by listening to various tape packs from events including Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, etc; and was a regular visitor to Homeboyz Records in Swindon. A few years later, after getting direct drives, he began to play at open deck nights at a pub in Malborough. As his confidence and mixing abilty grew Neo began to promote his DJing more, and received his first official hardcore booking at Totally ‘Ardcore in Bristol in 2005. Following this he has had numerous bookings, and the privilige of DJing alongside headliners Darren Styles, Sy, Hixxy, Gammer & Dougal, and many more. He has also enjoyed playing b2b sets with DJs including Miss Special K, the ADT Collective, Blend & Hoax, and regularly works alongside MCS Richie D, Serious & Cuzen.

At present Neo co-promotes hardcore event Hypercore and hard dance event Psychosis in Swindon. He also enjoys spending time in the studio and has worked with artists including K-Complex, the ADT Colective, Andy Cockbill & Noctoral Disorder (HTD Records), and Miss Special K, making hardcore and hard house.
