1991. Summer I left school, went to school in Basildon and a had friends at school who's older brother was a hardcore dj back in the day (my pal was Marco Scorollo, I have no idea what his bro's dj name was; but I learnt to mix on his 1200's playing tunes like The Exorcist and Ragga Twins). My dad used to run a stall at Chelmsford market and there were some boys oposite that had a record stall. I started to buy tunes then, got my own copy of Exorcist, Sounclash, Didgeridoo, bought some cheap belt drives and got started. I had the passion for the tunes and the desire but at the age of 16 my voice had not broken and I was scared of going to a rave on my own and didn't have any raver friends. In 1992 I got into drugs and started to meet like minded people that loved their drugs and music and we all trekked ourselves to Lydd airport for a rave in perhaps early '93. The most part of 92 to 95 for me were then taken up on acid, (woohoo) I spent some time in the Sub Zero pirate flat in Southchurch Road (Southend) but the more acid I took the more my tunes took a side line and I sold those early old skool tunes and my decks to by drugs. I got out to local clubs and quite a few squat parties in London and was right into my acid techno vibes. I still mixed at lots of local parties using other peoples tunes and decks (mostly those of a really good pal still to this day Darren Briggs, respect to you dude) and kept up the pretence of sanity until summer '97 when I took up the offer from my parents to 'move back home and get it together'. I worked at Glastonbury festival for two weeks after it had finished clearing up other peoples shit and went home to Southend and bought a Korg M100 with the £100 I had earnt. I had a plan to stop taking acid and start making it!! In or around 2000 I purchased a Roland MC303 and continued making weird tweaking acid/breaks tunes. I also started to toy with D&B as this is what I was buying most around this time. I continued to work hard on my tunes and made fricking hundreds once I had a pc. Mostly D&B for a few years. LISTEN Time is ticking. Tis 2004 and I need to kick start my dj and producing career. I am still sending tunes off here there and every where. I am signed to peoplesound. (lol.. I really should put some new stuff on there) I have just met my now wife Mel, she is awesome and I fall head over heals in love (she madly takes me on as a music loving dj/producer with a passion) 2005 I start dj'ing on kcp-unite internet radio... I get to know lots of raving mad people one of whom is 'THE' Dj Mixman. He introduces me to Remaniss Radio 2006 (oi oi Shiftee) which I also love playing on. After airing some of my tunes on Remaniss I decide to press some dubplates. Time ticks. I badger mixy into letting me play at one of his events NH December free party at Jacks. 2007 I continue to make tunes. Have become a resident HNR and event dj. I have sent a dubplate to New Zealand for Steve Bomber and am going to release some tunes under my own label FUK DIS RECORDS this year.
