I'm a hardcore breaks dj, I also play the faster kniteforce style stuff, and occasionally some upfront hardcore although I'm increasingly getting more and more jaded with that side of things.
Also love techno, and i play every style from minimal detroit, to funkier stuff to full on acid techno.
Love it filthy. Also play Electro House, breaks and d'n'b.
As far as i'm concerned if it's good, it's good, regardless of genre.
Influence wise the people / music that inspires me are Luna C, Robbie Long, Grooverider, Bryan G, The Specials, toots and the Maytals, Fugazi, Dead Kennedys, Dave Clarke, Chris Liberator, Johnny Cash, The Clash, The Prodigy and the Jam.
Non music people that inspire me : Douglas Coupland, Bertrund Russell, Chris Morris, Charlie Brooker, J.G. Ballard, Noam Chomsky and Douglas Adams

Then I shall be heading down to Bognor to rinse out some breakbeat hardcore ruffness also on the 22nd August at the Mud Club for Hard Velocity, which will be headlined by Mark E.G.
Oct 24th I shall be dropping some hardcore breaks at Outbreaks 3rd Birthday @ V Bar, portsmouth
