Currently stated as one of Leicestershire’s most original upcoming DJ talents, Steve G (Steven Goodwin) has gained much respect over the recent years for creating a fresh blend of house music and pushing the boundaries of funk, soul and electro to a whole new level. Aged only 24 and armed with 6 years DJ experience, his ability to provoke the dance floors with a lavish mix of fused beats, accapella cuts and technical tricks, is what makes him one of the most appreciated and talented DJ’s within his home town of Loughborough to date…

In 2003, he managed to set up his home based studio project and had produced his own remix version of Shakedown's "At Night", this gained several plays on Mark Ellison's peak time online radio show (Future FM), full support from The Luketwins (Funkology) and weekly plays from local DJ's. As well as producing through other independent projects and gaining full support from the likes of “Stonebridge” (Hed Kandi), his production skills have also been used alongside Birmingham's very own "Funkagenda" (Toolroom Records).

Since the launch of his official monthly house night “Soulfunk” in July 2006, his exposure has began to shine. Also placed under the wing of local friend “Nick Correlli” (MYNC project) and landing a new residency at Loughborough’s hottest nightclub “Rapture”, not to mention his previous warm up sets alongside some of UK’s finest house DJ’s, such as : Alex P (Ibiza), K Klass (Cream), Nick Bridges (Ministry Of Sound), Scott Lorimer (Blend), plus his monthly residency at Ministry Of Sound’s “Housexy”… All of this sums up to prove that his name and DJ profile is gradually breaking into the house scene and his sets are due to be smashed out at bigger and better places.
