A bit about DjR-Type

I have been immersed in dance music since the tender age of 11,way back in 1990. I caught the bug through early tapes by the likes of Carl Cox,Top Buzz,Sasha & the like. In the mid to late 90's i discovered trance & hardtrance through Dj's like Mark E.G & M-Zone, Paul Oakenfold (his legendary goa mix) and labels such as perfecto & dragonfly.
A move to London in 98 introduced me to clubs like Frantic,Twisted,Strawberry Sundae & Sunnyside Up & my love affair with the harder sounds blossomed into something magical!
In 2000 i decided that i just had to be part of this and quickly set out learning to mix. During 2001 i secured a few gigs in manchester. I have played @ Club North,Goodgreef First B'day Afterparty @ Mantos,Digital Love @ Aqua Bar,Confusion @ Rock Cafe Stourbridge & my biggest gig to date @ Sin:ergy pres Bonkas @ k2. I became a bit disillusioned by the scene & made a big mistake by quitting (something i have regretted ever since) But in 06 i decided to dust down & get back onto it & have been beavering away ever since.
I play mainly Hardhouse & Nrg (old & new) But also dabble with a bit of Trance & Hardtrance.

I am also resident/promoter of Wobble. A new monthly event on sundays, running from 2pm - 12am. Starting on 3rd of Feb 08. (myspace.com/wobblemanchester)
