DJ Sirus started bedroom mixing back in 98, it was all just messing around with a bunch of mates. Then after a few years he and a fellow bedroom jock ‘Vader’ decided to launch a hardstyle and hard trance night ‘Velocity’ at the legendary Cornish venue Cornwall Coliseum, that had previously held such nights as the likes of the ‘Dance Planet Detonator’ series of events. This night was a showcase of the SW’s scene of up n coming djing talent. With the closure of that venue, they decided to move the event to Newquay’s Tall Trees night club , Were the likes of The Producer, Dolphin, Dr S Gachet, Ben Eye, Hektek all graced the decks for the Velocity events. More recently tho he has changed his style completely and headed into the uk hardcore scene in 2006 he got himself a weekly residency on London based happy nation radio, a unique hardcore web station that not only brings a live audio stream but live visuals of the dj’s too. From this he landed several bookings in London clubs such as ‘Jacks’ ‘The Factory’ & ‘The Renaissance Rooms’ for several Happy Nation events and other promoters, supporting dj’s such as Marc Smith, Kevin Energy, Billy Bunter, Slipmat, Druid, Spinback, Uplift & Scar and a lot of London dj talent. He recently landed him self a spot at the newly launched Hard Energy nights that are hosting some of the biggest names in the hard dance dj industry. He’s looking forward to some good things too come.
