hi there, my name is chris shirvington aka DJ Excelsius. My main hobby is mixing and going out clubbing. I play mostly hardcore but i also mix hardhouse and hard trance and also a little electro.

I have now a few sets under my belt over the last year or so. My first set out was playing Hard House for Summit @ Hidden b2b wiv RAF which went really well, but hardhouse aint my thing really! Then Ben Skinner come up wiv the idea of having hardcore there. So Summit Above 160 was born!! This night has lead me to play at the Bed Bar in Woking. The first Above 160 night at Hidden where i played a main set slot b2b wiv Cypher on the same night as big names Hixxy, Brisk, K Complex which was such a buzz!!!!Summit Above 160 then moved to a bigger venue known as the Mass playing freeform b2b wiv RAF, again along side Hixxy, Bunter and UFO. Also i played again for Above 160's 1st birthday which was based @ The Bang Bar in Basinstoke, where Kevin Energy headlined!! I also have a residency for up and coming night Hard Drive which is based in a small place called the Remix Bar in Woking, again playing hardcore b2b mainly wiv Skinner and Yarpy. When im not playing out i have a residency on the bournmouth hard dance internet station Headrush Fm, playing hardcore and hard house on a friday evening and have been on there for over a year now. IM in the process of tryin to get a slot on history of hardcore, just waiting for confirmation!!
