Hi my name is Fifties (or sometimes Louise) and i am a dj/designer living in the flat land of Lincolnshire, renowned for its sausages and large cathedral.

I am originally from a place called Ballymena in Northern Ireland (made famous by a shopping center advertisement) but I traveled to England seeking fame and fortune back in 1999 to attended art college and as I bonus, I also discovered dirty dance music.

I play regularly at various nights at The Cell in Lincoln including Choobe, Cutz & Moda and I’ve been lucky enough play along such acts as Jon Carter, Caged Baby, Crazy P, Chris Lake, Brothers Bud & Dj Touche. I have a fairly eclectic record collection and I am pretty open minded when it comes to music as long as it isn't shit. A simple philosophy but a good one. I'm probably happiest when playing dirty driving tech/breaks sets in the early hours of the morning although I quite like playing milder flavored warm up sets as well to express my full array of musical tastes.

I'm also a big fan of making mixtapes and I'be been lucky enough to get featured in both the Dec 2006 iDJ Raw Talent competition and also in DJ Mag's Pick N' Mix (June 07). Also, I’ve gained some airplay on several internet radio stations including iBreaks. Currently i'm trying to embrace technology and master Ableton in my spare time which will hopefully help push me djing and sound to the next level. ...laptop djing maybe??
