Hi, my name's Gary, and i'm a House-aholic!! I promote and DJ at a night called Funkadelic which is held monthly at the Barfly (bar) in Liverpool. I also promote and DJ at Leap at the Vault.

Living in Merseyside my whole life i've grown up listening to the sounds of the city, and experienced some great nights at some great local clubs, and heard some amazing DJ's and musicians.

Early visits to Cream led me to want to get into DJing myself and after fannying about with trance and progressive during my late teens i soon discovered the pleasures of House and began rebuilding my record collection. I somehow managed to blag myself on at a night and haven't looked back - getting heavily involved with the night and helping to promote it and build on what we already have and make it better.

I regularly go to Circus and Chibuku at the Masque (Barfly), and can also be found on the dancefloor at many smaller nights such as Gimpfist, Freeze, Lost Property, In Stereo, Butane, Misadventures In HiFi (and others) in Liverpool. I also like the odd double vodka in La Go, Revolution (where we have our pre-parties) and Beluga (aka Djangos Riff) for Sunday Sludge-a-thon

I have just finished my PADI SCUBA Diving Instructor training, and will be leaving Britain in search of sunnier climes and tropical seas in the not too distant future (i just need to pay for it all first!!) Before i depart for a life of adventure on the high seas, however, my mission is to make Funkadelic the best underground house / breaks night the wrong side of the Mersey!!!
