hi to all those who venture onto this page .......
The first time i really got into music is when my mum went to the states and brought back a tape with some strange scratching noises and def beats ( have you guessd) i was 10 years old(1980).
i was never any good at breakdancing, but had a good ear for the music, over the years my taste for good grooves expanded from electro to swing to us house and so on and so on, if the b line was thumping and the vocals bellowing then i was their. my love of djing stems from a good friend of mine who used to play at the fridge in brixton along side the likes of boogie bunch..ive always shunned the limelight because to be honest i love a good dance and am always on a natural high when im out at different venues.
Not to say i havent done my fair share of dropping tunes myself, my buddies like the analysir, who u will find on this site (check out his page) and the likes of dj skinz whos played at most big venues around london and abroad r my closes buddies ..
I like to think as a dj , so i dont pigeon hole myself, if its rnb,hip,hop or house of all types, from dirty,soulful.progressive,i maintain a finger in all fields of music, using vinyl or mp3s i can cater for any venue, as you can probably see from the places ive played at............ music is the food of life
