The Middle Path
In each club I visit, you'll find me gliding past the overly priced cigarette vending machine, past the bar that serves to intoxicate, past the drug dealer who only promises artificial highs, past all those cute ladies who leave nothing to the imagination to a very special place of true enlightenment.
The dance floor. My place of worship for the night. The 'hypocentre' of liberation, where each sonic wave takes control of my entity, moving me in a constant form of radical expression that could be confused with the form of an self-induced alternated state; a potential consequence of combined legal and illegal highs. But the truth of a mirrored representation of sonic frequencies doesn't rely on manufactured highs, but of freedom, passion, unity; a oneness with each sonic beat as it invades the invisible and resonates my very being.
Club nights planned to see: Paul Van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, Marco V, Daft Punk, Bob Sinclar, BT, Aphrodite, David Guetta, The Chemical Brothers, Kai Tracid, Armin Van Buuren, Darude, Robert Miles, Miss Kittin, Ferry Corsten, Andy C, ATB, Deep Dish, Tiesto, Mauro Picotto, Blank & Jones, Fat Boy Slim, Quintien Harris, Seb Fontaine. 2006 sure is gonna be busy! :)
