I felt like i'd joined something wonderful and amazing and special. When i get ready for a rave, when i get on public transport and look at all the other people around me and know they have no idea what i'm about to experience, when i walk around day to day with hardcore on my walkman knowing nobody on the street would understand why i was listening to it..... i still feel special and part of something wonderful and amazing. it's like the masons or something. there's thousands of us all over the country going about our normal, private lives.... and then we all come together, dressed as we do, mashed as we are and it's like you're in a room filled with people who 'get it'. and after the weekend we all go back to our lives. and sometimes i just think of that and smile to myself. that's what it is to me anyway... we love the music and it brings us together and only we feel how we do. doesn't matter if everyone else thinks it's shit cos it makes us feel unreal :)
