Hi im James, im from Buxton, Derbyshire and currently Dj/Produce UK Hardcore, under the alias of Hoj. Iv always had a love for hard dance ever since my school days of listening to Happy Hardcore, i always wanted to visit Kinetic in stoke but sadly it closed before i was old enough.
Through natural progression and friends influences i turned to Hard Dance in the form of HardHouse/HardTrance, which iv been in for the past five years, and loved every minute and moment of.
In March 2K6 i expressed an interrest in wanting to mix, and was luckily enough to have a friend with many years of experience to teach me. At first i started on Hardhouse but before weeks had passed i returned to my original love of Hardcore, except in its current state. In april 2K7 after just over a year of using my friends, i finally got my first Technics.
Now nearly another year on, im lucky enough to take frequent bookings, get exclusive material and through a sign of the times having to upgrade to cd, which is also very useful as i now produce my own material.
Through 2K8 im hoping to carry out endless self promotion along side completion of plenty of new tracks. I currently have a regular spot @ HeadRush & produce work with Jervis from headrush and ukscene and Paul Manx.
