I feel like I have finally been living in London long enough to call it home, its still impossible to "own a patch", but at least I feel I know some areas well enough to feel safe.
Fabric is by far my favourite club of all time, and notting hill is my favourite free party every year! London still amazes me: there are so many new things to see and do every day, new experiences round every corner, underneath every tube line.......
I'm working my way through the "superclubs" of london on a shoestring budget. I love seeing new places and testing out new scenes, It is rare that I am withought my DSLR, so beware! There is nothing worse than frequenting a club so often that the magic and excitement disappears, I love going to new clubs, there is a special connection that a "first time" delivers, and it can never be beaten - no matter how hard you try!

My first festival was when I was about 2 years old, I am a true Glastonbury veteran! I returned again, aged about 3, and now I cant stop going back, like they say - start them young! When I was about 10 I discovered 2 Unlimited, and my love of dance music began! At the age of 15 I began (bedroom) EJing Hard House, at about 17 years old I got my own turntables set up, sadly they were boxed up in 2005 but I am glad to say that in 2008 I was reunited with them and my love for hard house has been rekindled!
My favourite artists were lisa lashes, lisa pin up, klubbheads, the prodigy, tidy boys, cyprus hill, 2 unlimited, fatboy slim, quiksilver, dj tiesto, judge jules, hi gate, the chemical brothers, kosheen, freestylers, and bomfunk MCs
after that period of my life I "lost" hard dance for a few years (plymouth doesnt have a very big hard dance scene) and I frequented live gigs, rock festivals (download) and more chilled music sessions
When i moved to london I rekindled my love for hard dance, and took it to a different level - DnB!
I became a massive fan of pendulum and noisia in February 2007. Pendulum cross the boundaries between genres and have brought dnb out of the dusty, bad reputation that it had.,, it has been reborn! I listen to KOOL FM all the time, and rarely work in silence. A phat bass line helps me work! Anything with a heavy rumbling bass n drums gets the thumbs up from me, whether its hard house, dnb, or heavy metal, even slower stuff like massive attack hits the right spot!
To be honest there are not many genres I actively dislike, I am quite fond of some Bob Marley on a sunny sunday afternoon, or even some latin american music in the park. Jazz is great by the river or at Hope Square in Weymouth, and even classical music gets the nod from ME if the scenario permits it.
Recently I have been going back to my roots: helter skelter, sly, vinylgroover, hixxy, dj clarke are old skool classics of mine!!! I just wish I had been old enough to see them play live back in the daze (I was only about 9 years old in the early 90's!)
Glastonbury Festival in 2008 was a pretty chilled one for me, that is after the rain stopped! See videos at youtube.com
Im quite a fan of the manic rave costumes and cyber gear that people go to all the effort of making! I am the proud owner of a bright yellow cyber dog long sleeved shirt.

Notting Hill Carnival (2008) was a phat one, and I am glad to say there was no trouble this time!
