Slots alongside Claude von Stroke, D.Ramirez, Armin Van Buuren ,Tim Sheridan and Laidback Luke have honed the skills of this London based DJ/production, and explain their swift rise to prominence. Whether it was their floor uniting, big room house, or their equally epic 4/4 productions which earned them the right to be Mixmag Tour residents is irrelevant... they’re playing all 17 nights of the UK tour so people can decide for themselves.
No slouches in the studio, their tight production work for Stripback Records has had love from guys who really know their apples... heavyweights like Dubfire, Axwell, D. Ramirez and The Scumfrog who hailed one of IAM ONE’s tunes as “best track of the year so far!”
IAM ONE’s productions take in intense, building synths and tight, pulsing tech-house jams via almighty breakdowns and driving take-offs. It’s underground action designed to kick floors into motion, designed to fill big rooms with drama. On top of that, they are also happy to twist the tracks of guys like John Dahlback into their own unique visions when on remix duty.
When it comes to controlling the floor rather than production software, they’re equally as able. IAM ONE ’s boundless energy bubbles out from behind the decks they so deftly work at every gig, fuelling the crowd all night long. From atmospheric, swirling and techy high ground, to bouncing, sun kissed and Miami-designed house groovers, this pair concentrates on the vibes of the floor.
Ahead are gigs at wised-up discos like London’s Matter, Sheffield’s Plug and Birmingham’s Custard Factory, as well as out in Ibiza. And whilst the IAM ONE boys traverse the globe rocking floors and gathering fans, their productions do, too. MIXXIMIZED in LA, Radio FG in France, VONYC in Germany and Radio Oxigenio in Portugal have all spread the IAM ONE sound.
