Who am I? What do I do?
Go clubbing... and way too often. Preferred Ibiza to London, though that may have been because it's a tad more pleasant to stagger out of a sweaty nightspot and into the glaring heat of the white isle's noonday sun, than to find myself faced by the hideous reality that is Vauxhall or Shoreditch on a Monday morning.
Been accidentally promoting parties in London since 2005, when I first brought La Troya Asesina, and then Space Ibiza (big club, lots of lights and DJs) and Gorgeous Ibiza to London, and even launched my own little party called Fly (which I promptly landed again when I realised that there was a problem with the under-carriage). Fly returned late in 2006 for a series of parties, before landing (again) until a better home is found for it. Home Of La Troya (as La Troya Asesina's now known) returned to London for Halloween and Xmas parties, moving to Ministry of Sound for the latter, which is where it returned last winter, for its final two London outings...

After spending about twenty-five years of my adult life in the protective bubble of London's gay scene, I've long since moved on to more inspiring parties, finding inspiration at Heaven for Bora-Bora (with Danny Tenaglia) and Carl Cox; from Cocoon at The End (Sven, you are a god); at Ministry of Sound, with NastyDirtySexMusic, Nude, and lots of Swedish parties from the likes of Steve Angello, Axwell and Sebastien Ingrosso; and the very very interesting Very Very Very Wrong Indeed at Turnmills.
In between times, I carried on dragging my sorry arse to Ibiza at the slightest hint of an opening party, and aside from one slight hiccup at the start of 2005 usually managed to fit the Space and DC-10 openings into my busy summer schedule... And the Amnesia, Cocoon, La Troya, Gorgeous, Scandal, Matinée Group, Manumission and We Love... opening parties... And all the closing parties and everything in between! Nights out, days out, and occasional trips to La-La land... That is what I did.
When not exploring the darkened underbelly of the disco scene, I also try to write about it in my Ibiza Boy and Disco Junkie websites, though I'm prouder of my contributions to DJ Mag's Ibiza editions over the past three years (last year I was page 8).
Circumstances led me to throw myself into the joys of club promotion in Ibiza during 2007, when I offered my assistance, and poster-hanging skills, as co-promoter of Space Ibiza's Saturday-nighter Gorgeous... Of the many things I learnt last summer, the most important is that sometimes it's okay to say no. I also learnt that OLIVER LANG is an absolute joy to work with, and any opportunity to work with him, or NICO DE CEGLIA, or TIMO GARCIA, or DJ DEE NICE, or TONI MORENO, are not to be missed!
2008 is to be a year without the white isle (time off for good behaviour), so instead you'll find me hanging out at Ministry, finally going to the SW4 festival, and probably even being at the opening night of matter!!
