Audiojack Biography……………………………..

Audiojack are undoubtedly one of the most talented and exciting electronic music acts to develop in recent years. With a musical presence and maturity beyond their experience it’s hard to believe it wasn’t much more than twelve months since they began laying down their first sounds together in the studio.

In this short time Audiojack have gathered an envious list of international DJs spanning many genres who support their sound including Deep Dish, Paul Woolford, Lee Burridge, James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli, Timo Maas, Umek, Fergie, Black Strobe, Luciano, Craig Richards and Ralph Lawson to name a few.

Their first two releases, both on Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom Records are tipped as two of the big tracks for the summer; the Audiojack remix of Spinach Disko released in June 06 has gathered heavy support and topped the DJ Download chart on release. Their original production Robot, out July 06 has dominated many of the leading DJs sets since it first surfaced at the WMC in Miami and was named recently by Lee Burridge in DJ Mag as his secret weapon.

Feedback on Robot includes kind words from Lee Burridge: “The track is wicked!” Paul Woolford: “its fu**ing ace!!” and James Zabiela: “I love it, Robot RULES!!!”

As a result of receiving Robot, Audiojack were honoured to be asked by Paul Woolford if they would like to remix his recent underground classic ‘Erotic Discourse’. The result is a dark and driving version which still keeps the original essence of the track.

A meeting with Ralph Lawson’s Leeds based 2020 Vision Recordings soon followed and subsequently an offer of a permanent record deal. Growing up in Leeds around 2020 and Back to Basics Audiojack were well aware of their reputation for helping develop other artists such as Electric Press, Spirit Catcher and Paul Woolford and were delighted to be involved.

Whilst 2020 Vision and Leftroom provide the perfect portals for releasing their original productions Audiojack are in the process of establishing their own label DFensive, set to act not only as a stable to release some of their own material but also for other artists who compliment the label sound.

Audiojack are currently working on their debut album for future release through 2020 – a formal introduction to the act, setting the musical stance for forthcoming Audiojack albums and solo releases. Stay tuned!
