For over 15 years Jay M had been pioneering the harder edged sound. His career started, when he was a just a 15 year old boy with a huge passion for music, he was resident in a local night spot and by 16/17 he was running his own succesful events.
Over the years he has played at many of the uk events and partys aswell as ran his own hugely succesful events, he is one of the few djs in the harder scene who is not afraid to vary his sound when playing out.trance/hardtrance to hardstyle and european hardcore, and no matter what styles he plays there is alway something special about his sets that always set the dancefloor alight.
Nowadays Jay is more popular than ever and is one of the most in demand scottish djs in the harder styles he has played at many of the uks biggest events and partys (HTID, The Arches, Addiction, T in the Park, Vibealite, Harder they Come, Hardcore Weekender, Diztrusxhon, Vibealite, Binary, Absolute, Judgement Day to name only a few )and has also played in Germany, holland, Switzerland and Spain amongst others, aswell as djing under his Jay M name he also djs alongside his partner in crime Marc Smith as the hugely Popular FORCE 9 duo.
Djing is not his only passion , Jay has run many succesful events in the uk bringing over many of the worlds best djs to show there talents at his events and still does the occasional event and also helps many other promoters with planning and design and dj booking aspects of their events.
Production wise Jay has had tracks released which have had great reception from djs and clubbers he is signed to the Dutch label V-trax as himself, Italian label Future Sound Corporation with Marc Smith as Force 9 and to Notorious Vinyl UK along with JTB as Dual Core.
With some huge productions and many gigs already confirmed for 2007 it looks like Jays career will rocket even more and he will continue to tear dancefloors up wherever he plays.
