I'm DJ Jimmy Hypa I'm 25 years old and was born and bread in Salford Manchester. My style of music is uk hardcore/freeform/gabba . I have been Dj-ing for 7 years. My biggest influences are wide ranged from all backgrounds of music not just dance My first set of decks were a pair of shitty direct drive gemini and mixer to get started on i used them for about a year before upgrading bits and piecies that broke through over use and constant batering. I now currently have a pioneer DJM 600 mixer technics 1210's and pioneer CDJ 100s In 2002 I started to dj on a community radio station run by government funded group called radio regen which i had a show 12-6 am on 106.00fm and 86.07fm. In 2003 I started at City college learning all aspects of music tutored by hacienda legend jon da silva and co promoted a small night @ the park nightclub manchester with a couple of other students and good freinds at the time all funded by the college armstrong learning the night was called threshold we only ended up doing the 1 night to give us a bit of understanding how it would be promoting a night.
