I started clubbing in 95 at Turnmills while working for a certain DJ (no Names dropping). I instantly fell in love with dance music. Tall Paul, Oakenfold, Cox, Boy J, Sasha etc. I toured the UK most weekends looking for the ultimate line-up, plus then it became my job, hence i usually found it. How the years have passed. I stepped out for a few years in an attempt save myself a brain transplant and blood transfusion. In 2004 I met Mark from Higher Status at the current C64 venue at an opening night (again no names) and took an instant liking to him, finding out later that night that he was responsible for one of Dance Music's greatest tunes (a meltdown on the dance floor) which later won the Kiss FM best tune ever in 2003/2004!, I think. my hero. Anyway, after that experience of Break Beat i soon after, and as before, it was love at first sound. Happy days.

I am not a religious person but I have always whispered that clubbing should be a spiritual experience and that was my “church allowance” or allocated time for worship. Dancing freely with lovely people to intelligent music has got to be one of the best things in this life and I pity the fool who can disagree.
