Born and bred in London, Jon started his musical career studying orchestral percussion, and soon became interested in jazz, funk and soul, playing drums with various bands, whilst simultaneously touring internationally with a London youth orchestra. He later picked up the piano and trombone. Jon is trained in classical composition, and has written and published music for concert, stage and film.

Having turned his hand to electronic music and discovering his own fascination in techno, Jon began producing original dance tracks. He has been DJing since Novermber 2008, and already enjoys remarkably fast growing success across the London clubbing circuit. Jon has teamed up with fellow DJ Rob Meyer to form the duo MAKER + MEYER, who run the PROPELLER club night promotions brand together.
