I'm a promoter and DJ like everyone else in the world.

The nights I'm currently running are Upstairs Downstairs (mixed up quality records anything from funk/soul, disco to deep house and electro) High Tea (chilled beats on a sunday in the sunshine....its a tea party that wishes it was on salinas beach - we're launching 2007 season (May 27) with JON SA TRINXA from salinas beach ibiza who will be promoting his new mix cd on Azuli records. Later in the season we have COSMO of body and Soul and the loft (15th July) and JIMPSTER from the bays/freerange records). Mayhem (with John Coomer from bump and hustle - big up....he's a wicked dj) and Deeper which is a deep house night as the name kind of implies...

i also play a lot of the bar circuit in london...you can catch me at Dust, Hive, Charterhouse, Lockside Lounge, Medicine Bar, Salmon and Compass, Lorca...places like that. i'm good at designing flyers but rubbish at promoting myself...i just love music and hope that people feel connected to what i do and play.

Some of my biggest influences are the following Dj's and producers...its a pretty mixed bag...but it'll give you some idea as to where I come from...so in no particular order: Mark Farina, David Mancuso, Joe Clausell, MAW, Charles Webster, Derrick Carter, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Kerri Chandler, Osunlade, Henrik Schwartz, Jay Dee, Leroy Burgess, Curtis Mayfield, Barry White, Quincy Jones, Nina Simone, Jill Scott, Minnie Riperton, 4 Hero, Jazzanova, Tony Humphries, Larry Levan, Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Norman Jay...i could go on...

I'm not particularly good at doing the internet thing... I'm more of a face to face person... i'll add more to this when I have a mo.
