We are a part of the Sheffield Underground scene called The Mad Hatters Family and we promote Bass music. We collaborate together as Dubcentral, Feedback, The Dark Crystal and JuJu Club often. We cover drum and bass, dub step, techno, reggae, dub, jungle, roots, steppas, breaks beats, hip hop and world sound, the list is endless really!!!.

JuJu is about promoting and bringing together musicians and artists from across the globe and presenting them at live music and dance gigs at venues in Sheffield. We are also heavily linked in with Dubcentral, Feedback and The Dark Crystal - very often teaming up for festivals and productions.
JuJu presents wicked global music nights, mainly live and always upbeat, uplifting! There's a wide range of live music, mixing roots bands from Africa, Latin America, Asia and other global points with African drummers and UK based musicians playing dub, techno and other dance flavors. We've got a good outdoor festival feel, yet we're indoors, with the range of sounds you'd expect to hear as you moved between the world music tent and the dance tent at Glastonbury.
The JuJu resident house DJ is Papa Al. His music is global fusion, which crosses between pure global beats from world music scene with dub, drum and bass and techno trance fuelled tracks. Papa Al shares the decks with a range of guest DJ's recent partners such as The Disorientalist (Aejaz).
DUBCENTRAL, Sheffield, puts on big allnight reggae dances which are going down a storm with sound systems, guest and resident djs mcs , playing ska, roots, reggae, dancehall but mostly dub, we link up to do bigger gigs with other promotion crews, The Dark Crystal, Feedback, The Junglist Alliance, Headcharge (check em). DUBCENTRAL is purely about ALL TRIBES coming together to listen to conscious, uplifting and vibrant music. Listeners are from all backgrounds, male and female, from teenagers to 84 year old grannies, and all leave with same smile on their face! It has to be said that the crowd and atmoshere is something very special in our sessions and one of the big reasons that Dubcentral is getting such a good reputation on the national scene.
FEEDBACK has been promoting drum and bass, techno, old skool, and jungle, since 2003. It started from our love of music and Sheffield's Underground music scene. Feedback has had various homes over the years such as The Old Arches, Club Shhhh, Corporation, and the back of pubs, bars and random spaces in Sheffield.
Feedback have been devoted to booking a different variety of drum and bass artists and sounds to the Sheffield touring network. We target dark, tech-step, rolling, old, new, up and coming drum and bass from the UK and beyond. Feedback have big plans for Techno in 2009, linking tribes together with Techno Sounds from Acid to Detroit. We showcase our unique resident DJ's and their different styles and always take pride in making sure there is a heavy sound-system to to sound to you.
Feedback Crew are also the promoters of the legendary Dubcentral and JuJu Club in Sheffield and very often team up for festivals and productions with Dark Crystal, Dubcentral and Feedback to bring you The Mad Hatters Ball, a night of heavy bass and madness.
