Kayf has been DJing, promoting, producing, and generally tearing up the dancefloor since 1996 (albeit under a different name before taking a break to start a family).
He has been a resident for Freedom at Bagleys, Supersexy, Plasma, Mantra and Purity to name but a few, playing in the biggies – from the Cross, Glasshouse, Bagleys in London to Ministry Hotel in Ibiza, to far flung places like Tobago, South America and the US.
And from that line up you can tell that his music styles might be a bit varied. “If I like it, I play it... period!’
‘Funky house to hard house, electronica to chill out, trance to breakbeat: played it. Rocked it’.
As a producer he has had dance chart success with ‘Fluid’ and the ‘Mea Culpa’ remixes for Pioneer and Bonzai. He has worked with PPK, Martin Sharpe, Conti, Ayla, Rich Foster from 2DamnCheeky, DJ Kira, Diginerd, Some guy named Rob, I Ching, Mrs Smith, and is currently doing colaboration work with Ronnie Ronson and The Nemesis Effect, working with the legendary producer Paul Wright (Trevor Horn) and will soon be releasing tracks through his new labe 'Active Records'.
Not your average DJ /Producer, but then again if you’ve seen him play, it’s not your average setup.
