A bit about Keira-EOC

I am the promoter of London-based drum n bass event Essence of Chi :)

But apart from being in the "industry" (eugh) I am a 100% original old skool raver I went to my first rave in 1994 at the good old Sanctuary (RIP) Dreamscape 15 v 16 and never looked back since, being a regular at the likes of Dreamscape, Helter Skelter @ the Sanctuary, Slammin @ Bagleys, United Dance @ Stevenage. I also loved my house music in the nineties and was known to make the odd pilgrimage up North to the legendary Cream in Liverpool !

Moved to London from Stamford (nr Peteboro) in 1997 to go to Uni- purely coz I wanted to be near EVERYTHING ! As well as continuing my love affair with the big raves also enjoyed club nights such as Movement @ Bar Rhumba, Metalheadz @ The Blue Note, Strawberry Sundaes at Cloud Nine in Vauxhall & from time to time Sunnyside Up at the Chunnel & SW1.

D&B is really and truly the love of my life though, and I have got so much out of this music all I ever wanted to do from day one was put something back in, right from when I used to help promote jungle nights as a student 10 years ago, from standing out in the freezing snow and rain flyering for this rave and that (not alots changed there!) to now where luckily I've had my own night Essence of Chi which I started in 2004 with MC LowQui.

Not only do I run the independent EOC nights but I am blessed to be able to say I work regularly with the legendary Moondance & have hosted arenas for them for three years now. I have also worked with the likes of Renegade Hardware, Ministry of Sound, Innovation, Son of Dance & Rotation.
