A bit about Laylah

I am a Hard Dance and Breaks DJ based in Brighton.

I have made some truly excellent friends over my many years of clubbing and DJing.

Nothing pleases me more than a crowd of happy and hectic smiling faces.

I love DJing and I am filled with the greatest pride from all the positive feedback I have had over all the years. I find that my best sets are when the mixing seems to take care of itself and I can just jump around dancing with everyone. Some of the best positive crowd reactions have come about from seeing a DJ who's really enjoying themselves. I know it certainly makes me as a clubber, dance that much harder. That and of course the right tunes obviously.

I have been a DJ for many years, I started playing House music way back in 1996 and then followed the music scene as it got harder. Inspired by the Trade DJ’s esp. Tony De-Vit and Pete Wardman. I have played in every club in Brighton and many of the larger London clubs such as Crash, Turnmills, The Fridge, & Mass and have played alongside many of the hard dance scenes big names, although I don't feel the need to name drop.

For all the years that I have been DJing I’m am glad that I can still bring the same energy and enthusiasm I always did.
