The Bio Lee H was born on the 7th December 1979 and began mixing at the tender age of 15! Gained his first set at the age of 16 playing at The Tube in Tiverton. After playing in Tiverton a couple times that same year Lee also became resident for Big Hammer Promotions playing at Burston in Bow. The club was small, with a capacity of around 400 but renowned for its underground scene. Big Hammer after 6 month branched out holding nights further a field at venues such as The Grove in Seaton and The Paradise Club in Honiton. By this time Lee was playing most weekends and the bookings came flooding in. Promoters like Legend and Madhouse Mania from North Devon who held bigger nights with DJ such as Carl Cox, Trevor Rockliffe and Tony De Vit also asked Lee to come down and play.

In 2002 Lee was asked to headline a number of Big Hammers nights at the Burston in Bow, the place was always cram jammed. Lee managed to gain other sets that year abroad playing in Magaluff at Funky Monkeys and Charlies alongside high flyers such as Judge Jules and Lisa Pin-Up. On his return Lee took sometime out to get his life back on track and find a proper job. He now works for Devon County Council as one of there Corporate Project Officers.

In 2004 Lee finally got back behind the steels playing funky/electro house at various local pubs and clubs in the Exeter area such as The 3 Fat Fish, the Velvet Lounge, and the Zephyr bar. He entered the Dance Academy (Plymouth) DJ Comp and made it to the semi-finals which was a fantastic boost and again gained him the recognition he desired.







Lee has his own radio slot on www.PleasureRadio.co.uk every other Sunday 18:00 20:00 playing the dirtiest house and techno he can lay his hands on. Next year this station will be hitting DAB so WATCH THIS SPACE. Last year Lee gained two residencies for Tranz@ction in Truro, Pams House & PHunky and just recently Lee has picked up another residency when he was scotted by local electro heads Used Goods. Last year Lee played for some of the biggest brands around such as the Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Tidy and Slammin Vinyl.

Lee is also moving on to produce his own music. His first release is a collaboration with local DJ/Producer Nick the Kid. 'Gettin Harder' is the first electro house release which is out now, check it out:

Lee now runs his own night 'House Trap' at what he considers to be the best venue in Exeter The Velvet Lounge. House Trap resides on the last Friday of the month running from 9 till 2am. All the dates and listings are listed below in the 'Up and Coming Gigs' section.
