I work for Solent Student's Union as the Communicatons Officer, since recently graduating in Journalism at Southampton Solent University. I originally hail from Cowplain, near Portsmouth.

The Union has played a huge part in my Uni life and I want it desperately to remain the heart of all Solent student's lives, battling against the swarm of student nights and cheap drink alternatives that Southampton has now been overcome by. (You may think this is good, but where's the sense of community?!) We're more than just a bar.

Nightlife history?!:

I often go to Delight@Route 66, The Registry and many random bars in and around portsmouth/southsea, when i'm not at Uni.

I can now be seen out and about at the Rhino on a Wednesday, Unit 22, The Joiners and anywhere in and around southampton that plays decent music! (which is a lot more places than in Portsmouth, unfortunately). I have some wicked housemates and coursemates, as well as some awesome mates i've met around the city and at work...it's vastly becoming my main home :)

I absolutely adore music festivals, especially Reading as i've been going for 5 years...to be honest what else is there to say? See you around!
