Makka first found his love for music when he got into the club scene at the bonny age of 17, He bought his decks and started as we all do, indulging into the world of hard house and trance but realised his true passion was with funky house ,it is this style of music that Makka plays today with his residency @ BODYGROOVE alongside fellow legend Matt.D
Makka s love for funky house grew and grew, until times change, music changes and in comes electro house which has taken people by storm, so now between them both Makka has made himself heard. He started playing in local venues along the south coast and his confidence began to grow as he realised he was actually making an impact, not only on himself but the on the crowds he played to. His time finally came in 2004 when Makka was booked to play an electro set for STIMULATE at the warm up party for the Homelands Festivel (Winchester U.K), Since then he simply rocked every dancefloor lucky enough to have had his presence. In 2005 Makka was asked to play for an up and coming night in the south coast called BODYGROOVE, yet again he made an impact and wasnt long before Matt.D and Makka joined forces and together they have taken BODYGROOVE and funky house to another level, much to the love of all the bodygroovers.
2006, it has got better and better for Makka with BODYGROOVE going through the roof palying at some of the top events in the south coast and getting involved in charity events and STIMULATE nights rockin every time leaving people wanting more, Makka took a short break to the sunny island of Ibiza alongside dj and friend AUDIODICE who is one of the souths most influencial djs, together armed with vinyl they played at several venues and booked themselves a return pass next year with the best from the south coast.
Things have got better and better for Makka playing again at the biggest event in portsmouth out at spitbank fort in the middle of the solent, he made an impression and has himself booked allready for the next one in october. Aswell as getting his residency at Bar 38 in Gunwharf quays taking his talent and mixing ability with him making it now the best pre club warm up bar in Gunwharf .
Once again Makka dosent stop 2008 a new year and a new residencey for a local electro night SCREW playing the music which he loves best stompin electro and so far so good he is making an impression everytime he plays ,as well as joining forces with fellow dj's and friends to start a fresh night in portsmouth RELENTLESS Vs AMPLIFIED held once a month featuring the best local talent and some big named djs such as Tim Lyall, Dave Gomraz, Cally Cage and Richard dinsdale. This night is making itself heard and so are the people involved.
Makka is now one of the best up and coming djs in the south coast with his palying ability and his attitude towards it .
