In 1999, NJ based DJ/Producers; Dean Masi and Giancarlo Lisi teamed up to form “Masi & Mello”. As competitive as the music industry is, they used teamwork to achieve a common goal. They combined both of their musical styles to come up with their own unique productions as well as the way they dj & perform live! As Remix/Producers, they have made a mark in the dance music industry working with such record labels as: Subliminal Records, Stealth Records, Vish Music, Jellybean Recordings, Tweek’d Records, Neutone Recordings, Dee-Vee Music, Megabop Records, & Media Services NYC just to name a few! They have also worked with & have done remixes for many different artists such as: P. Diddy, C&C Music Factory, Ricky
Martin, Solitaire, Aubrey, Delsina, Johnny Vicious, Todd Terry, Ariel, Tiffanie, Brittany, & Mahdi. In 2005, Masi & Mello have also landed a remix on the soundtrack to a Japanese animation film entitled, “Cowboy
Bee-Bop”! While the dynamic team works as Remixers for many different artists and labels, their true passion is in writing and producing original music for themselves & working with their own artists!

On the flip side to music production and remixing, on the dj level, Masi & Mello have held residencies and have spun guest spots at various nightclubs around the country. Here are some venues they have performed at in the New York area: Crobar, Exit, Limelight, Tunnel, and Z-Lounge. Aside of the Big Apple (NYC), they have also performed at: Fur (D.C.), Envy (Philly), Elements (WV), Casbah (Atlantic City, NJ), Sky Bar (South Beach, Miami), Moomba Beach (Aruba), and frequently spin at all the hottest spots in New Jersey. night long!

In January of 2000, Masi & Mello did a live television broadcast on MTV in front of millions of viewers! They played a 12-hour dance marathon for MTV’s New Year’s Eve Bash. This is an accomplishment that is few and
far in between. As of 2003, Masi & Mello now run their own dance oriented Record Label entitled “So Deep Music”. The label will feature quality house music that represents their musical style. With a strong production team & fresh new talented artists, So Deep Music has high expectations to become
