Having turnatables "permantly extended to your arm" from the age of 13 is as good an introduction to a music career as any according to this young riser. Having spent his teens organising and DJ'ing at many local north west parties, Matt spent 2 years (ahem) "working" in Ibiza as a PR before spending 5 years in music college in Manchester and eventually London. His work in record labels, distribution companies and now as promotions manager has enabled him to focus his talent into a "real career".

When not running nights such as ZonK, Acid Reign and Plug-In at venues including Plastic People, Medicine and Undersolo, you can catch Matt with his head into some deep ass house and techno, either behind the decks or in front of them. Matt's DJ influences largely evolve around Lazarus, Burridge and now RadioSlave. "Each of them guys are a great example of what i expect from a DJ, i connect emotionally with their vision as i try to apply a similar ethos to what i do with my sets. I'd also recommend everyone to hunt down a copy of Zabiela's winning Muzik Magazine Bedroom Bedlam tape. That thing is like a bible, I've never read any of them how to dj books but i bet this is like a million fuckin times better! Its about 10 years old now but its still a masterpiece.
