I started djing Speed Garage in 1999 when it first hit the scene and played in various local bars as well as parties in the Essex area. Upon Speed Garage’s eventual death I turned to House and Trance while doing sets around Essex
I soon started djing a ‘Hed Kandi’ style of house, using a collection of Deep/Soulful and Funky House in sets around Essex and London and my first year in Murcia, Spain djing in Lanzelot and Merohecho for crowds of up to 500. I soon made my debut in London at Studio33 for In2Funk, a joint venture that started it all off.
I got very busy with local label 2Funk, Aspects in Brighton as well as Merohecho and Lanzelot in Murcia, Spain . And soon landed a guest slot every week as 2Funk hit Chelmsford, I used to play Deep & Soulful House and build up to dirty house. During the summer of 2005 I launched fragrances for Cavalli in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Glasgow and turned my attention to Deep & Soulful House, some Latino and Balearic beats infused with House to create a funky, yet soulful atmosphere.
I continued using a Deep and Soulful injection to kick off afternoons and evenings at THE Bar in Chelmsford on the Terrace as Fandango took to the stage for huge 12 hour sets. During this year I also found myself playing Elan Lounge, THE Bar, Ancient Lights, D Place and Reds and made my debut Boat Party playing for FunkedUp, where I then followed this up with more sets in Ancient Lights and Reds for Dirty Classics. This year also cemented a residency in Murcia, Spain as I took to the crowds once more playing a selection of Deep, Soulful and Funky before breaking into Dirty and Electro House.
I play Murcia, Spain for Bandos La Huertas + Semanta Santa Sound in April playing at Merohecho, Lanzelot and Super Club Novo every year.
My favourite DJ is Frankie Knuckles.. After hearing him in Club Ku (now Privilege) in 1997...
