Maxim Zaycev was born in 1981.
To become a DJ Mazai decided after his first meeting with turntables in 1997.His main hobby for that time was dance music, so his decision was influenced by his main passion – music.
Icons for him became such a people as Carl Cox, Marusha, Westbam.
In 2004 he met Paul Arnold, legendary producer and the head of FAT! And Certificate 18 labels, so DJ Mazai decided to develop breaks music and mix it with breaks sets.
DJ Mazai is one of the dj’es who are trying to mix Electro house, progressive, breaks. His active work with music and people gives positive atmosphere on a dancefloor.
Organisator and resident of FRIDAY BREAKS SESSIONS in clubs Plastilin and GOROD, Sunday parties Staff party in club XIII.
He’s an official DJ of TURBOSOUND branch in Russia, resident of English labels agency’s FAT! and Xeton records.
For the past two years of his career main styles of his music are: Electro breaks, funky breaks, Electro, progressive house. On private parties, for himself and his friends, he plays melodically and sexual music: deep, disco and American house.
In January 2007 he is gong to open with Dom Kane from Xeton rec. first international DJ-agency MONO DJ AGENCY with office in London. In the list of a DJ’s are included such persons as Dom Kane, Rui Da Silva, Deepgroove, Poroxx aka Prospect, Toni Bass aka Deux, Peter Brown, Paul Arnold, Shiloh, Chris Salt, James Wilson, Daniel Bailey.


He is an often guest in this Moscow clubs : Parliament Beach, Sahar, Life, Tuning Hall, Biblioteka, Lady Luck, A Priori, Neo, Freid, GOROD, XIII, Gnezdo, Nobel Square, Le Trange, Aerocafe etc.

DJ Mazai was official DJ – member of a fashion performance designer “Kuralai” on Moscow Fashion Week 2006 with online translation on World Fashion Channel.
