Hi I am James Watts more commonly known as MC Wotsee. I am a hardcore MC from Newport in South Wales who started mc'ing at The Jailhouse in Hereford in March 2000. I also ran an event called Rave in a Cave at TJ's in Newport from April to July in 2000 with DJ's Dodgee, Barno and Fuller which pretty much started my mc career rolling and what now is a Welsh Hardcore scene.

Within one year of my first club performance I was playing at Compulsion, Helter Skelter and Slammin Vinyl which according to a lot of people probably makes me the fastest rising mc the scene has ever seen which to me is something I am very proud of. I won the first ever breakthrough MC award at the 2004 Hardcore Heaven awards which was a big achievement and you can catch me all over the UK and occasionally in Europe every weekend and even sometimes midweek doing what I love most.

I am currently involved with the promotion of Atomic which is Wales's longest running Hardcore event and Hardcore Evolution which is Wales biggest Hardcore event as in 2008 I am going to try maximise the number of Hardcore events in South Wales as the Welsh scene is the strongest it has been for over a decade. I'm very proud of representing my town and country every week at events all around the UK so I feel Wales should have a scene as big as the rest of the UK and I give all I have got to provide it.

I pride myself on being the most unique mc in the UK and I accept that it is not to everyones taste but at least i can say its original and a major reason for my success over the last few years and it most certainly is something that I won't be changing anytime soon.

I host at internet radio show called TNT which you can tune into on Thursday nights between 9 and 11 on www.kraftyradio.com. The show has become the most popular internet show and the numbers of listeners rises every week showing exactly how strong the show is. In hosting this again I try and give a new image to an Internet radio show by adding humour to my normal mc performance and some of the top tunes in the scene at the moment.

Recently I have just made some new tracks with Brisk and Vagabond which are called "The Last Word", "Keep on Stomping", "Love can be Real" and "Final Goodbye". These are the first tunes I have done in over two years and I hope to make a fair few more this year as I have a lot of ideas for things I want to be involved with. I have a few more plans to make new tracks, the kind of which have not been done before. The Last Word and Final Goodbye are very different from anything I have done before and I hope to continue doing things different in the scene over the next few years.

Away from the mic i am a big Newport County AFC football fan and i get to as many games as possible but very rarely miss a home game, this passion goes for over 20 years and County is the only result that ever matters to me. I like to go out and have a drink and laugh with my mates and always have time for any questions about any projects I am currently working on.
