MC Orion or Del, first picked up his first microphone at the age of 18 whilst working at the local bingo hall where he grew up, calling out the numbers for the games for all the local inhabitants that frequented the hall, at the time he was listening into and had already started to go to large scale events such as "dreamscape" , "Helter skelter" , "Kinetic" and "Quest".

Once he had moved out of his hometown to a place on the welsh borders called kington, he started to think about giving something back to the scene he loved so much, so went out and brought his first set of decks (citronic PD1's), he then practised using the decks for a few years until one night he was at a local house party and as he was still not very good using the decks, picked back up the microphone and started to link sentances and words together to try to make a coherent rhyme, but instead started using rhymes of those MC's he had heard while going to the large and small events that he had been attending.

That night after he got home he started to think about seeing if he was any good as an MC rather than as a DJ, as he was still having difficulty attempting to beatmatch.
So Del sat down over the next few days and weeks and started to put words into rhymes and sat listening to the MC's from all the tapes he had collected over the years, after few months of writing these ryhmes, but not actually doing anything with them he had got good mates that DJ'd at the local event "Spunky" and asked for thier veiws, the one friend DJ Barnee told asked him round to his one day to see what the rhymes sounded like actually on a set, so Del then spent the next few weeks going over to Barnee's house near worcester to practice, at the time the event Spunky he used to go to nearly every weekend had moved to a club called " the crystal rooms" in Hereford, and Del had moved as well over towards Worcester, so on the opening night of Spunky at the Cyrstal Rooms (The lock up) Del first stepped up onto the Mic, With DJ Frooty who he had become great friends with on and off the Decks.

So the scene was set, Del used to go over and MC for some of the residents who warmed up for the main DJ's such as Dougal, Styles and Breeze who regularly came to the club.
Then one night one of the Resident MC's hadn't turned up for the main set, so Del or Orion as he was becoming known stepped up and started to MC.

About 2 years after he had started to MC at Spunky Orion had a phone call from MC Rude who was doing an event at the Brunel rooms in Swindon, under the guise of "the fruit club" that night on the 12th of March 2004 Orion went down and MC'd to "Mozz and Thumpa" alongside The Rat Pack, Snypa and Ruse , with Charlie B and Everson Allan on the stage with him.

Orion has had regular bookings most weekends all over the country and has MC'd at a number of large prestigious events such as "Hardcore Heaven", "Missing In Manchester","Hardcore Paradise" and "Kinetic" as well as picking up residencies at "Spunky" , "Totally Ardcore" , "Bazooka" and his latest at "Kinetic".

Orion is a very versatile MC and can MC to most genres with the scene he is in, including:

Jungle.
