Mikee's been part of club culture for the best part of 10 years enjoying nights at Passion, Gatecrasher, Tidy, Sundissential, and of course his local club night very close to his heart Storm at the Emporium.
After many a year of enjoying clubbing he decided to buy his first set of decks and from that point started the excing journey of learning how to mix. Being completely self taught and a dedicated bedroom dj, Mikee felt the need to take his skills to the next level and play out. It wasn't long until he got his first gig playing at a local funky bar called Zeus. After impressing instantly, Mikee found himself with a regular weekly slot playing upbeat funky/Electro House.
Although after a year still happy to be playing at Zeus, the next step was to try and break into the club scene. He managed to get a demo cd to Jimmy Dean (Xstatic/Storm Promoter)who gave him his first proper set which was Xstatics 2nd birthday at the venue in long eaton. This lead to him playing regularly at Xstatic events, now focusing on mainly Electro and other House Genres.
When Xstatic moved to Apollos in may this year (2008) Mikee was very happy to be made Funky/Electro resident which he is doing to date. As well as the Xstatic residency Mikee has also played for other events including Storm, Red Room Sessions, Summit, Pardon U, Rompastomp, and Paws.
Whether he's playing an electro warm up or thrashing out some stomping hard tunes at peak time Mikee is very versitile and can adapt his style of mixing and tune selection to suit.

2009 is gonna be a special year... Lovin every moment possible....
