My name is Kevin Hackett, I'm a media artist, currently living in Phoenix, Arizona. I run the AAA Posse: All-Night Audiovisual Assassins. The mission of the AAA Posse: All-Night Audiovisual Assassins is to promote electronic dance music, the culture it creates, the life styles it inspires, and the artists that create the music. This is accomplished through the art of DJing, VJing, graphic design, producing and promoting events, participating in weekly radio broadcasts, charting current tracks, reviewing new music and anything else that positively promotes EDM.
The Original All-night Audio Assassins began in 1999 as a DJ radio crew in Moab, Utah where we became well known for our all-night pirate radio shows, often spinning until the sun rose. In 2002 I relocated to Bisbee, Arizona where I began the first steps to take the AAA Posse to a new level of excellence within EDM community. One of these steps included a serous dedication to live AV mixing. In 2003 I moved to Tucson, Arizona and unleashed my unique blend of live video mixing. I have spent the last 3+ years actively working as an EDM graphic artist, DJ, VJ, producer and promoter. Today I call myself a DMJ, short for Digital Media Jockey, which more accurately describes my love and dedication to the digital arts.
In the past 5 years I have shared the stage with electronic music headliners such as Bunny of Rabbit in the Moon, Christopher Lawrence, Terry Mullen, Paul Anthony, Sean Tyas, Dave Berg, Mark One, Kevens, DJ Keoki, DJ Craze, Black Sun Empire, Galaxy Girl, Mistress Barbara, Scott Stubbs, Simply Jeff, DJ Dara, John Bishop, John Kelley, Dylan, Tech Itch, Dave Aude, Frankie Bones, Adam X, DJ Micro, D-Fuse, Charles Feelgood, Pete Smalls, Danny the Wild Child, DJ Rap, DJ Colette, DJ Frances, and countless other amazing artists. I am proud to be a well known audiovisual artist in Arizona who is respected for pushing the boundaries of creativity within the Audiovisual arts. Finding new ways to inspire and entertain my audiences has always been an important part of what I do. My passion for music and visuals are why I love to do what I do, and the love and support I receive here in Arizona is why I call it home.
The AAA Posse website (www.aaaposse.com) is a great way to stay up-to-date with what I'm doing. The site contains my DJ and VJ demos, full bio, event and graphic design galleries, show reels from past gigs, music videos, free original VJ loops, upcoming and past events.
