Nathan Hunt is fast becoming one of the best Trance DJ’s in his home town of Portsmouth. Since the Trance scene in the late 90/00’s with super clubs such as Slinky, Godskitchen & Gatecrasher, DJ’s including Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk & Judge Jules have inspired him to chase the dream of one day rubbing shoulders with the big guns & emulating his heroes.
Trance is his passion and he can play any Trance ranging from Tech-Trance to Euphoric/Uplifting to Elec Trance. During his sets you can always expect to hear a tune from yester year neatly slipped in to get the crowd rocking taking Trance back to its roots. He is constantly reading the crowd. His diversity & mixing ability will leave your ears in pure bliss.
His 1st break into the DJ scene was playing at GENETIC in 2006. From this he has appeared for iLLuMIDanCe, INCENDIARY, SUBMISSION, DELUSION, HARDNATURE & PURE EMOTION in 2007.
Since his appearance at iLLuMIDanCe, the promoters were impressed with his all round professionalism they offered him a residency. He now holds the monthly residency. He also joined forces with iLLuMIDanCe and co-promotes this event which is growing in stature and is becoming the best Trance night in the south.
2008 has started off with a flourish playing at ELEMENTAL, WOBBLE HARD & F.U.K with also continuing his residency at iLLuMIDanCe.
Nathan's biggest highlight so far this year was featuring for RELENTLESS vs AMPLIFIED alongside one of Trance's brightest young talents in GREG DOWNEY.
With more gigs across the South Coast including DEBAUCHERY in Southampton and AIRWAVE in Bournemouth, Nathan is spreading his unique blend of tech-trance to euphoric, driving sounds with great applause.
This year is going from strength to strength and with the pending introduction of his own productions, which will only develop his career, the future looks bright for Nathan.
