Hello my lovely crowd!
Most of you might know me already, but if you don’t, please let me introduce myself. I’m Maria Rosângela Teixeira, or just Maria. I was born in Araranguá, a small town in the countryside of state of Santa Catarina, Brazil – you can find it on Google Earth, trust me. I started to work in local newspapers and advertisement companies in my hometown, as well as promoting tourism events.
In 2001, though, I changed my mind radically and headed to London. I’ve been living here ever since and fell in love with electronic music and the clubbing industry. Everything started when I went out for the first time to Escape From Samsara, at The Fridge, which resulted on me going clubbing every weekend. Then, I found myself working as a promoter, either flyering or organizing paying guestlists for London’s best club brands.
The natural step was to set up my own business, Never Enough Events (www.toomuchbutneverenough.com), which has hosted rooms at important venues such as The Coronet, Turnmills, The Fridge and Brixton Academy. Throughout these years I’ve been grateful to everyone who trusted on my work, especially all clubbers I’ve met. You guys know how concerned I’m to listen to your requests, so bear in mind that Maria will be all ears.
I work with brands, such as Antiworld Events, Gatecrasher, Frantic, HeatUK, South West Four, Lock’N’Load, Tranzmission, Bedrock, Push, Extreme Euphoria, Party Proactive, Riot!, among many other and few events in Brazil.
