Whilst having a quiet moment in the middle of the main room at TERMINAL @ The Renaissance Rooms, I got to thinking....

In the past 2-3 years I have been on an incredible journey!!!

It all started whilst sitting on the Terrace at Bar M in Ibiza with 3 faithful sidekicks preparing for another legendary night out on the White Isle!!

This was the moment I met Steps....H (AKA Bwennett) and Claire!! Sitting on the next table...a moment’s conversation...an awesome night...week...friends for life!!!

It was with Steps that I started my training in the ways of the force that is funky house with a week of Balearic mayhem, including a legendary night in Garlands and cleverly avoiding Dave Pearce in the main room at Eden for a night of shapethrowing in the funky room!

After that it was all about the monthly road trip to Hed Kandi at GC1. Meeting up with my IBZ sidekicks and new partners in Crime!!!

Then it was time for IBZ 05!! Another week of mayhem. Who would have thought lightning would strike twice?!? Sure enough I was blessed with another IBZ buddy....Jodeeee!!!

That week was started of by the prospect of something a bit harder! Jules and Halliwell @ Judgement Sunday!!! Despite the call of two big names in the main room the entire night was spent lovin it in the Funky room with the Trophy Twins!!

Again I was tempted by the dark side!! One of my sidekicks showed his true colours..."its fookin mint in there, Jules is kickin off!!!" I resisted the call and kept on funkin it up!!

Back to reality....
...with more road trips to Hed Kandi but now with Bwennett and Jodeeee along for the ride!!!

Recently the lure of the Darkside has become stronger....

It all started when the same old sidekick from Judgement Sunday, and another new partner in crime, lured me over to Amsterdam for Sensation Black. I found myself feeling the power of the darkside and liking it!!

So as the Darkness sucks me in with Hard House beats and lasers all around me I am feeling the need for funk again!! Although I'm with great friends old and new and lovin it, I also find myself missing my IBZ buddies and various shape throwing antics.....

Oh well...off to the funky room again!!
