Nyx was the primordial goddess of the night. A shadowy figure, Night stood at or near the beginning of creation, and was the mother of personified gods such as Sleep and Death [the twins]. Her appearances in mythology are sparse, but reveal her as a figure of exceptional power.

Whilst most of you kids are happy to parade your cybernetic pinks and greens to shout to the world of your individuality, my world is a happy shade of darkness with thunderbolts of blinding white hitting you in the ass, just when you thought there was nothing left on earth to stimulate you.
My name is Nicci, or as known on DSI, my alter ego is Nyxx. I'm sometimes a little lost in a world filled with confusion, and like everyone else, just trying to carve out my own path to enlightenment and purity which is a bit difficult in a filthy godless world... but until my vision becomes clear, I'm here to party with the rest of yer....
My beginnings are obscure, first crawling from a meteoric rock (or should that be metal-oric?) as a humble disillusioned kid, brandishing my armour of metal-head attire in die hard rocker days, becoming bored with the cliches and boandaries restricting the progression of music, and morphing into something else beyond my control! An ethereal higher state of conscious being called 'openmindedness'...
So here I am today, a rock-metal-industrial- funky-dance-hardhouse-house-electro-techno-trance-classical-hiphop freak, and I don't care! In fact, it's great! Rock saved my soul, and trance lifted me up - the fallen angel spread her wings!
I love recording my own thoughts-feelings-theories in my own f*cked up codsh*t diary, and love going mental watching other people expressing theirs in music! In fact in all forms of brain-bursting-ball-busting art.... from poetry to paintings, intense films, novels, prose.... you get the idea. Viva la passion! To achieve empathy and belonging through emotion is a gift.
By the way, next time your in a club, ponder this to the next messiest person you lay your eyes on... if all people look different, is there not a chance that all people see/smell/feel differently? If I see blue, and you see red, how do I know what you see is not the opposite, but we've all been taught to give the same name to different colours we see differently..... Hmmm....
You could be yellow, and I could be green, but we both call it 'skin colour' which is.... whatever it is?....
In short.... I am me, and you are you, and everything is cool and dandy.......
