Scott Poole grew up in the rave tape culture of the early nineties. Listening to distorted recordings of Universe, Fantazia and Tribal Gathering. From this early on Scott knew that he had found what he had been looking for in the music world DANCE! To be amongst like minded people enjoying the music and living for the moment.
Soon after this Scott started collecting vinyl and equipment. It wasn't too long before promoters snatched him up .
He embarked upon a year long residency in a locally acclaimed venue playing to eclectic and cultured crowds. From this point the powerful dj known as the philosipha was born.
The Philosipha has grown his talent, style and his fan base over the years, right back from when he played to tough crowds and tougher venues at local Free Decks Nights, but here he was learning, honing the art of the dance floor and making it bigger every time he played.
